18 years old to take CPD entrance exam

The Chicago Police Department is now only requiring applicants to be 18 years old to take the 2013 CPD exam. You'll still be required to be at least 21 years old to accept the position and enter the academy. I'll have to look into it but it seems that you won't need the mandated 60 credit hours to take the exam (who at 18 has 60 credit hours???), but it will be required before you enter the academy.
