The election results are in and Mike Shields will be the new FOP President. I, for one, voted for him. Let's hope he can live up to his words that he spoke of during the roll calls he attended. Some of his guys didn't get elected, so we'll have a mix of the old citywide team and the new Shields people... Best part about it is if we don't like the direction he has taken, we'll vote in someone new in 3 years.

it's nice to finally get a blue shirt as fop president. don't think its ever happened. He's only 33 years old w/ 10 years on the job. A lot of people say he's a cocky arrogant know-it-all. Maybe we need that right now. If it backfires on us, lets hope he doesn't dig us into too deep of a hole for the next guy to get us out of. -
